Daily wear

Inside the custom jewelry process at Gabriel Jewelry Designs, every ring starts with a conversation about the person, the occasion, the preferred style, and the practical details that will affect daily wear. You can bring inspiration photos, metal preferences, gemstone ideas, an existing stone, or only a general direction.

From CAD to gold, the goal is the same: turn a personal design idea into a finished ring you can understand, approve, and feel good wearing.

Custom Ring Services

Custom engagement rings are designed around the person wearing them. The design can be classic, modern, vintage-inspired, symbolic, low-profile, bold, or built around a specific diamond or gemstone.

Bespoke wedding bands can be made to complement an engagement ring, match a partner’s band, or stand on their own. Width, curve, texture, engraving, metal color, and stone detail can all be adjusted.

Statement rings and skull rings are built for clients who want stronger personal expression. These designs may include heavier proportions, carved details, gothic influence, symbolic forms, or unique men’s wedding band ideas.

Gabriel Jewelry Designs works with clients in Chicago, the surrounding suburbs, and across the United States. Rings are designed, made, finished, and checked with care so the final piece feels personal and wearable.

Custom Jewelry Process | From Design to Finished Ring

Step 1: Consultation and design direction

We begin with your vision, inspiration images, preferred metals, gemstones, setting style, timeline, and how the ring should feel on the hand.

Step 2: CAD, 3D rendering, and approval

A digital CAD model and 3D rendering help you see the proportions, setting height, side profile, and important details before production begins.

Step 3: From CAD to gold

Once the design is approved, the ring moves into production. Depending on the design, this can include casting in gold or platinum, fabrication, engraving, stone setting, hand finishing, and polishing.

Step 4: Final review and delivery

The finished ring is reviewed, polished, and prepared for pickup or delivery so it is ready to wear, propose with, or give.

From CAD to Gold: How We Create Custom Jewelry In-House

The in-house custom jewelry process gives you a clearer path from idea to finished piece. CAD and 3D previews help confirm scale and shape, while hands-on finishing brings the metal, stones, and small details together into the final ring.
